Every shared house has this argument. The ask happened somewhere in a group chat between a photo and a link, nobody was named, and a week later there are two honest versions of the same week. The record you needed on day one doesn't exist.
Write it down, not into the chat. A task is a line with a name on it, not a message that scrolls away by Thursday.
Name it when you make it. Given to someone, or open to anyone — and it always carries who added it.
Settle it with a record. Nobody is scored and nothing is ranked. There's simply a list you can both look at.

Make a room
A flat, a family, a couple, a shared car. Name it, pick a tint, and it exists. Each room keeps its own list, its own members and its own history — nothing bleeds between them.
Share the code
Six characters is the whole invite. A child joins a family room by scanning a parent's QR instead, and signs in with a four-digit PIN — no email, no phone number. Approve every join if you want to.
Write the first thing down
Two taps: the +, then the title. Everything after that — who it's for, when it's due, which room it belongs to — is optional, and can be added later or never.
A chat remembers what was said. A list remembers who.
A message records that something was mentioned. It doesn't record who took it on, whether it happened, or when. Scrolling up to prove a point is how the argument starts, not how it ends.

Pro is priced per person, so a four-person flat where everyone upgrades pays four times. Prices in USD; your store may charge a local equivalent. These figures must match App Store Connect exactly before launch.

What happens when someone moves out?
Their tasks return to open, so nothing silently disappears. The history stays, and their past entries are attributed to a former member. If they set the room up, admin passes on — a room is never left without one.
What can a child do, and what can't they?
A child joins a family room by scanning a parent's QR code, and signs in with a Kid ID and a four-digit PIN — no email, no phone number. They can see the room's list, tick things off and vote in polls. A parent approves every join, messaging is off by default and adults-only when enabled, and the parent is the only route to reset a forgotten PIN.
What data do you collect about a child?
A display name and an avatar. Nothing else, ever. Analytics are hard-disabled on child accounts. The full parent-facing notice lives on Children & parents, linked in the footer.
How do I cancel Pro?
In your Apple or Google account subscription settings, not here — the store holds the subscription. Cancelling stops the next renewal and Pro stays on until the period ends. The 30-day trial is one per subscription group per Apple ID.
Why is there no leaderboard?
Because a household is not a competition. There are no points, no streaks and no rankings anywhere in the app. It records who has what and what got done, so you can settle a disagreement with a record instead of a score.
What if a task is finished late?
Nothing happens. Late completion carries no penalty and no flag — the deadline line simply fills and stops. A task nobody picked up before its window closed is marked Missing, in words, and can still be done afterwards.
